The Law Cottage is a new business providing a range of private client legal services, including Conveyancing, winding up of Executry Estates, preparation of Wills and Power of Attorney, Guardianship Orders and Intervention Orders and other aspects of Adults with Incapacity Work.
The Law Cottage is owned and run by Alexandra Macinnes, a solicitor of over 20 years’ experience. She graduated from The University of Edinburgh with an Honours Degree in Law and then went on to complete her Diploma in Legal Practice there. After finishing her studies she completed her Traineeship with a firm in Oban and went on to become a partner in that firm, moving to become a Partner in a Dunoon firm in 2002. In May 2014 she set up The Law Cottage.

Our professional and friendly service incorporates the flexibility required to fit in with your lifestyle, including meeting you in your own home or at another mutually convenient venue. If you find it difficult to attend meetings during traditional business hours it will often be possible to arrange meetings with you in the evenings or at weekends.
